The RCIA is a most rewarding experience for all involved. We encourage you to join the RCIA if you wish to be initiated into the Church or can give your talent as part of the team. |
The RCIA is the Church’s way of bringing new members into the community of faith. We look forward to the fall when we will begin the process anew. Who should consider RCIA?
1. Those who have never been baptized and wish to become Catholic
2. Baptized members of other Christian churches who wish to enter the Catholic Church
3. Catholics out of high school who have never been confirmed and who wish to be fully initiated into the Church by receiving Confirmation
We also invite interested parishioners to serve on the RCIA team. There are a number of dedicated people involved, but we can always use more. How Can I help?
1. As a CATECHIST who would give an instruction about the Catholic faith or lead a Scripture Sharing.
2. As a HOST who would prepare the room and refreshments for the RCIA gathering.
For those who volunteer for the RCIA team, the various duties would be shared to make it as easy as possible for all.
The RCIA group meets weekly (evenings) from October to May
