marriage
'The matrimonial covenant, by which a man and a woman establish between themselves a partnership of the whole of life, is by its nature ordered toward the good of the spouses and the procreation and education of offspring; this covenant between the baptized persons has been raised by Christ the Lord to the dignity of a sacrament.” (CCC – 1601)
Marriage between a woman and a man is a sacrament and is witnessed by a priest or deacon. Those people wishing to be married in St. Julia Church should contact the pastor at least six months prior to the intended date of the ceremony. A Marriage Preparation Course will be required as well as proof of Baptism and Confirmation.
Please contact the Parish Office to arrange a meeting with the Pastor.
